public class ColorBar
extends IPanel
implements ColorMapListener

A color bar is a view of a color map, a mapping from values to colors. A color bar listens for changes to a colormap, and updates itself accordingly.

Constructs a new color bar with no label.

Parameters:

label - the label; null, if none.

setLabel

public void setLabel(java.lang.String label)

Sets the label for this color bar.

Parameters:

label - the label; null, if none.

setWidthMinimum

public void setWidthMinimum(int widthMinimum)

setFormat

public void setFormat(java.lang.String format)

Sets the format for major tic annotation for this color bar. The default format is "%1.4G", which yields a minimum of 1 digit, with up to 4 digits of precision. Any trailing zeros and decimal point are removed from tic annotation.

Parameters:

format - the format.

getTile

public Tile getTile()

Gets the tile used to display this color bar.

Returns:

the tile.

colorMapChanged

Paints this panel to a specified rectangle of a graphics context. This implementation simply paints any IPanel children of this panel. It ignores and does not draw any children that are not IPanels.

Classes that extend this base class typically override this method to draw something besides children of this panel. When appropriate, those extensions may also call this method.
